Knowing my surgery was coming up I tried to plan things that I could do with the kids to keep them busy, entertained, and having fun. We made a list. Water balloons. Definitely ON THE LIST.

Harley was trying to catch some of the balloons the kids were throwing. He'd run around chasing the balloons and biting at the water as it splashed on the ground.

Making ice cream wasn't on the list until we bought the ice cream maker from Costco. It was on sale or else I wouldn't have mentioned it to Spencer about how fun it would be this summer for the kids. So far we've made four different flavors of ice cream in a month. Luckily it doesn't make too much.
This was our first batch. Cookies & Cream. It was SOOO yummy!
Some of my eager taste testers that ate a good dinner, did their after dinner chores, and had their bath. Avery was such an amazing helper with Josh while I couldn't carry him around.
